Terms of Service for Chrome & Microsoft Edge

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) before using the SusurElf extension for Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, the SusurElf website, or a related subscription (“the Service”). The Service is operated by Courage Creates Pinnacle Technology Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

SusurElf is a browser sidebar AI assistant. It can summarize selected page content, translate text, answer questions, analyze selected screenshots, create mind maps, and generate web podcasts. Requests are sent through our backend to Aliyun DashScope for remote AI processing.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to use the Service. You represent that you have the authority and legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

3. Accounts and Authentication

SusurElf uses Google OAuth for account authentication on Chrome and Microsoft Edge. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. Contact support@susurelf.com if you believe your SusurElf account has been used without permission.

4. Free Access and Paid Plans

SusurElf may offer free trial credits subject to availability and anti-abuse limits. Paid website plans for this channel are monthly Starter, Plus, and Pro subscriptions. We do not require an annual plan, and Supreme is not offered for sale.

Chrome and Microsoft Edge subscriptions are purchased on the SusurElf website and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We do not use Microsoft in-app purchases. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle’s checkout and payment processing terms.

• Prices, included credits, and current features are shown on our Pricing page.
• Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled before the next billing date.
• You can manage or cancel through the link in your Paddle receipt email.
• We may change future prices on reasonable notice; a change applies no earlier than a later billing cycle.

5. Credits and Usage

AI features consume credits based on actual usage. Credit cost can vary with content length, language, selected feature, and model. Any estimate of chats, pages, or actions is for planning and is not a guarantee of a fixed number of requests.

Free trial credits are one-time and expire at the end of the stated trial period. Credits included with a paid subscription reset at the start of each monthly billing cycle and do not carry over. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between different SusurElf accounts.

Refunds are governed by the Chrome & Microsoft Edge Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights;
• Generate or distribute illegal, fraudulent, abusive, hateful, or sexually explicit content;
• Circumvent credits, rate limits, access controls, or security measures;
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated requests except where we give written permission;
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract non-public source code;
• Submit sensitive personal information of others without a lawful basis and appropriate consent.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, fraud, abuse, or security risk.

7. Your Content and AI Output

You retain your rights in prompts and content you submit. You are responsible for having the right to submit page text, screenshots, and other content. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your purpose. Verify important information before relying on it.

8. Privacy and Third-Party Services

The Chrome & Microsoft Edge Privacy Policy explains what information we process and how requests are sent to our backend and Aliyun DashScope. Paddle processes website subscription payments. These providers operate under their own terms and policies.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, extension code, website, design, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal or internal business purposes under these Terms.

10. Cancellation and Termination

You may uninstall the extension at any time and may cancel a paid subscription through Paddle. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally leaves access available through the end of the current paid billing period. Deleting your SusurElf account does not by itself cancel Paddle billing.

We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access if you violate these Terms or if continued access creates a legal or security risk. Terms that should survive termination by their nature will remain effective.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETELY SECURE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Courage Creates Pinnacle Technology Co., Ltd. operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation, without limiting consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised Terms here with a new “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
