About

An honest statement

Every reading and reflection you see on SusurElf and in Reflect is written by an AI model, not by a person. It is offered for entertainment and self-reflection.

A few plain consequences of that:

  • No media endorsement. No newspaper, magazine, or broadcaster reviews or backs our readings.
  • No human astrologer. We do not present our texts as the work of a professional astrologer, and no astrologer writes or checks them.
  • No predictions. Our readings are prompts for reflection, not statements about what will happen in your life, and not advice for medical, mental-health, legal, or financial decisions.

If a reading resonates with you, treat it as a question worth sitting with. The meaning is yours to make.

How we compute your chart

The astronomy behind a chart is ordinary, checkable math. We calculate planet positions with astronomy-engine, an open-source library that implements the public algorithms of the kind published in the Astronomical Almanac, the standard reference for positional astronomy. Charts use the tropical zodiac and Placidus houses. The math is deterministic: the same birth data produces the same chart every time.

Elsewhere on this site we describe our chart calculations as “NASA-grade precision.” That phrase needs an honest footnote, and this page is that footnote. It means our engine implements the same class of published astronomical algorithms that public ephemerides are built on, so our computed positions are meant to agree with published ephemeris tables. It does not mean that we use NASA data, and it does not mean that NASA endorses us. We have no relationship with NASA of any kind.

Questions about any of this reach a human on our support page.
